The Danforth East Community Association is a fledgling group of residents who want to help make their neighbourhood more beautiful, vibrant and safe. We are harnessing some of the incredible talent that lies within our borders and using it to improve our community. Our boundaries are Coxwell Avenue to Main Street, Mortimer Lumsden to the train tracks.

First and foremost this association will help bring neighbours together and foster a strong sense of community. To do that we are focusing on greening and beautifying our streets and parks, improving the commercial strip on Danforth Avenue, taking action to reduce crime and planning community events. Already the response from people in this neighbourhood has been incredible and we've only just begun.

This website will continue to grow so please check in on it often. If you would like to become a member of DECA, there are two options: a voting paid member ($10) or a non-voting unpaid member. Either way you will receive information about what is happening in your community and in the association.
